Christmas is here and Philip (Steve Martin) the owner of a phone help line knows it should be his busiest time of the year. But what is concerning him more is the threat of eviction from the building owner leading to one of his call handlers, Mrs. Munchnik (Madeline Kahn), fretting about losing her job. But that is not the only problem for Philip as he has to deal with whilst Chris (Liev Schreiber) a cross dresser, a pregnant woman Gracie (Juliette Lewis) and her boyfriend Felix (Anthony LaPaglia) as well as a love triangle involving himself, call handler Catherine (Rita Wilson) and Louie (Adam Sandler) who lives downstairs. ...
