Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark (2014)

Mega Waste

There is a new mega shark on the loose and it doesn't matter if you are in a sub, a boat or a plane as it will attack you and it will kill you. It is why Jack Turner (Christopher Judge - LA Apocalypse) and his wife Rosie (Elisabeth Röhm - Left for Dead) have been working on a mechanical shark with a guided computer system by the name of Nero. Trouble is that not only is the Mega Shark more dangerous than they realise but he is also a horny beast heading for an ancient mating ground and if there is nothing there when he gets there he is going to be one frustrated beast.

These movies are nonsense, I know that before I even contemplate watching them but even so "Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark" was even more nonsense than they usually are with a storyline which feels like it was made up on the fly, well what storyline there is was made up on the fly. See what you get in "Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark" is Jack and Rosie working with the navy to try and destroy the Mega Shark but most of the movie actually ends up Jack worrying about Rosie, Rosie trying to be heroic and the mecha shark they use goes wrong.

But let me give you some positives I got from watching "Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark" and the first is that Christopher Judge and Elisabeth Röhm make a good team and deserve to be in better movies than this sort of thing. The other is that Paul Anderson who provides the voice of Nero the computer system has a bit of William Daniels about his voice and reminded me of K.I.T.T. from the old Knight Rider series.

What this all boils down to is that "Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark" is a bad movie from start to end and there is nothing about the action, drama or storyline which is entertaining. But some of those involved in this certainly deserve to be in better.
